Twice a year, rather than staying in Hadleigh we venture forth to an exhibition or gallery. For example we followed up a talk on the painters who lived in Great Bardfield with a trip to the village and then on to Saffron Walden to look at some of their work in the Fry gallery. Two of the Library sessions will be a project in which we all participate, taking a key word such as ‘bling’, ‘red’, ‘weather’ and see what that suggests. At the remaining meetings, which we take by turn, one person gives an informal presentation, to introduce some of the art works which we then discuss informally.
