Hadleigh Suffolk

GROUPS

Hadleigh U3A currently has around 20 interest groups covering a wide array of subjects from Looking at Art, Scrabble, Social History to Nature.

We are always keen for new interest groups to get started and any member can start up a new group, you don't need to be an expert in the subject matter. We will offer potential leaders all the help we can to get a group up and running. Liz is our Group Co-ordinator so please contact her if you have any ideas for a new group or want help to get on started.

You might find that some of the groups are full and they will then run a waiting list, this is often due to lack of room at the venue which is sometimes a members home. If that list grows why not think of starting up a second group in that subject. As you can see we have two Social History groups for this reason.

Some groups will also charge a small fee to be in the group, this is to cover the cost of hiring a venue.

Contact Liz to answer any questions about the groups.

You need to be a fully paid up member (or an Associate member) of Hadleigh u3a to join a group, but you can belong to as many as you have the inclination, time and energy to join.
